This policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on SumaKey, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don't have to reconfigure them every time you return to the site or navigate from one page to another.
2. Cookies We Use

- Preference cookies: Remember your settings and language preferences.
Legal basis: Performance of contract (necessary to provide the service you request).
2.2. Analytics Cookies (Optional)

- Analyze usage trends

- _ga_*: Session identifier (duration: 2 years)

Important: Google Analytics may transfer data to servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and uses Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
Legal basis: Consent (you can accept or reject these cookies).
2.3. Marketing Cookies (Optional)
We use Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and for remarketing. These cookies allow us to:
- Measure conversions from our Meta advertising campaigns
- Create custom audiences for remarketing
- Optimize ad delivery
- Analyze campaign effectiveness
Meta Pixel cookies:

3. Third-Party Cookies
In addition to Google Analytics, we use third-party services that may set cookies:
- Stripe: For processing subscription payments (security and functionality cookies).
- Meta Pixel (Facebook): For advertising conversion measurement and remarketing. Sets the
_fbpand_fbccookies, subject to your prior consent. - Google Wallet / Apple Wallet: For generating and updating digital cards (they do not set cookies on our site).
4. localStorage and sessionStorage
In addition to cookies, we use browser storage technologies:
- localStorage: We store your authentication token to keep your session active. This data is essential for the service to function and does not require consent under the LSSI-CE.
- sessionStorage: We store temporary data for the current browser session.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences in several ways:
- From our site: Use the cookie management panel that appears below or the consent banner.
- From your browser: You can configure your browser to reject all cookies or alert you when a website tries to set a cookie. However, if you reject essential cookies, some parts of our website may not function properly.
